Escape Room Reset Card privacy policy
ANIMIST OÜ (registry code 14092388, Estonia) provides this app. This policy explains its information handling and our support contact. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to appstore@animist.ee.
Information used by the app
Escape Room Reset Card stores room names and descriptions, reset sections and cards, instructions, photos, reference images, issue notes, reset sessions and timing, and device names used in reset logs.
The history and analytics shown inside the app are based on this operational data. They are not a third-party visitor-tracking service. Avoid entering unnecessary staff or customer information into room notes, images or logs.
iCloud and permissions
The app stores data on your device and uses Apple's private CloudKit database when available to synchronize data between your Apple devices using the same account. ANIMIST does not operate a separate room-data synchronization server.
Camera access and the system photo picker let you attach images to rooms, reset cards and issue reports. Selected images become part of the app's data and may synchronize through iCloud. Apple operates iCloud under its own terms and privacy practices.
The current app does not include third-party advertising, tracking or analytics SDKs. It does not require a separate ANIMIST account.
Optional subscriptions
Optional monthly and yearly Reset Card Pro subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store. The app uses StoreKit to check verified transactions, subscription expiry and access to Pro features, and to restore purchases. Apple processes payments; ANIMIST does not receive your payment-card details.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account's subscription settings. Deleting the app or its room data does not cancel a subscription. Apple retains purchase records under its own policies.
Sharing
Room-file export can include checklist content and attached images. Exporting or sharing a file gives its contents to the destination you choose. Review instructions, photos and notes before sending a room file; recipients control any copies they retain.
Files handled by another application or storage service are subject to that service's privacy settings.
Retention and deletion
Room content remains until deleted or removed with app data. You can delete individual rooms or use the history-and-analytics deletion controls. Deleting history does not delete the underlying rooms, sections, cards or photos.
Removing the app does not by itself guarantee deletion of its iCloud data, device backups or shared room files. Manage iCloud storage through Apple's settings and remove exported copies separately. Synchronization of deletions depends on device connectivity and Apple's service.
Support and your rights
If you contact ANIMIST, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond to your request, investigate problems and handle related legal obligations. Our email providers process correspondence to deliver and store it. Do not send passwords, account credentials or unnecessary personal information.
Where applicable, support processing is based on providing the assistance you request and our legitimate interest in resolving issues; legal obligations may require some records. Ask us about retention or deletion of correspondence. A parent or guardian may contact us about information a child has sent to support.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, a copy of personal data, or restriction of or objection to processing. You can withdraw consent for future optional processing without changing the lawfulness of earlier processing. ANIMIST can act on information it holds, not private device data or records independently controlled by another provider.
Service providers and international processing
Apple, advertising providers where used, and other services identified above process information under their own privacy notices. Hosting and email services also process data needed to deliver their services. Processing may take place outside your country or the European Economic Area; the applicable service notice describes its arrangements. Contact ANIMIST for questions about providers involved in handling information we hold.
This website and policy changes
This policy page contains no advertising, analytics scripts or tracking cookies of its own. Hosting systems may process IP addresses and ordinary access logs to deliver and secure the page. Website privacy describes statistics used elsewhere on animist.ee.
We will revise this policy when the app or its data practices change and update the date above. Publishing a policy does not mean that every platform version is already available.
