AQUARIUM privacy policy
ANIMIST OÜ (registry code 14092388, Estonia) provides this app. This policy explains its information handling and our support contact. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to appstore@animist.ee.
Aquarium activity and local settings
AQUARIUM is an interactive aquarium for Apple TV. It does not require an ANIMIST account and contains no advertising, third-party analytics or developer-operated tracking service.
The app saves your selected aquarium, sound, fish population, bubbles, water effects, current strength and whether the control hints have been shown in local app settings. Remote-control input is processed on your Apple TV to move the water, feed fish and tap the glass. The app does not send these interactions or settings to ANIMIST.
Aquarium visuals and sounds are generated on the device. The app does not provide its own cloud synchronization or collect camera, microphone, location, contacts or photo-library data.
App Store purchases
The app includes an optional one-time purchase to unlock the premium aquariums, not a subscription. Where available, StoreKit contacts Apple to load product information, verify purchases, check access and restore an existing unlock. These checks can also occur when the app starts or becomes active; the app is not entirely disconnected from online services.
Apple handles payment and purchase records under its own privacy practices. The app receives the transaction information needed to confirm access. ANIMIST does not receive your payment-card details or Apple Account password through the app. Purchase availability depends on the released version and App Store configuration.
Storage and deletion
Saved preferences remain on the device so the app can remember your choices. Change them in the aquarium menu. Deleting the app removes its ordinary local settings, but does not delete Apple purchase records or copies held in system backups. Manage those separately through Apple and your device settings.
Removing the app does not cancel or revoke a one-time purchase. Restore Purchases can recover eligible access using the Apple account used for the purchase. ANIMIST cannot access or erase settings held only on your Apple TV.
Diagnostics and help
The app does not automatically send usage events or diagnostic logs to an ANIMIST server. Apple may process system, crash or App Store information according to your device settings and its own notices.
If you send screenshots or other information to support, review them first and include only what is needed to explain the problem. Do not send passwords or payment details.
Support and your rights
If you contact ANIMIST, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond to your request, investigate problems and handle related legal obligations. Our email providers process correspondence to deliver and store it. Do not send passwords, account credentials or unnecessary personal information.
Where applicable, support processing is based on providing the assistance you request and our legitimate interest in resolving issues; legal obligations may require some records. Ask us about retention or deletion of correspondence. A parent or guardian may contact us about information a child has sent to support.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, a copy of personal data, or restriction of or objection to processing. You can withdraw consent for future optional processing without changing the lawfulness of earlier processing. ANIMIST can act on information it holds, not private device data or records independently controlled by another provider.
Service providers and international processing
Apple, advertising providers where used, and other services identified above process information under their own privacy notices. Hosting and email services also process data needed to deliver their services. Processing may take place outside your country or the European Economic Area; the applicable service notice describes its arrangements. Contact ANIMIST for questions about providers involved in handling information we hold.
This website and policy changes
This policy page contains no advertising, analytics scripts or tracking cookies of its own. Hosting systems may process IP addresses and ordinary access logs to deliver and secure the page. Website privacy describes statistics used elsewhere on animist.ee.
We will revise this policy when the app or its data practices change and update the date above. Publishing a policy does not mean that every platform version is already available.
